Every day, 6 people are diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.
Our mission is to ensure we give every one of those people the opportunity to create amazing memories with their family and friends which will last forever

“Thank you for all that you are doing through ‘Challenging MND’ to support people living with motor neurone disease. Your record breaking feats of fortitude have inspired others to give generously to your charity and those donations will give the gift of memories through days out and special experiences.”

Origin & Ethos

Who Are We?

Inspired by Alex Gibson who was diagnosed in 2018, Challenging MND was set up with the mission to provide financial support and assistance to those living with motor neurone disease, to complete any lasting memorable challenges or experiences.

MND is a debilitating progressive disease which involves degeneration of the motor neurones and wasting of muscles.

Throughout the deterioration of the functioning of the body, the mind remains sharp and unaffected, making the importance of memorable occasions invaluable.

Our mission is to ensure there are no financial obstacles preventing you from creating these amazing memories.

What We Do. How We Help.

Whilst most MND charities admirably raise money for much needed medical research, Challenging MND sets out to create memorable challenges or experiences for people living with MND, giving them; their friends; and families; lifelong memories that can never be taken away.

Our aim is to ensure that there are no obstacles, whether it be financial or training equipment, preventing these amazing challenges from happening.

Please get in touch if you know of someone or have been diagnosed with MND yourself and require assistance with any long-lasting memorable challenge.
