Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge

Great challenges need great settings, and up to 2,000 adventurers will take on the Isle of Wight stunning coastal path – all out to push themselves further. It’s along the spectacular southern cliffs, past the iconic Needles, and up to historic Cowes. For Full Island challengers it’s on to historic Ventnor, and back to our welcome basecamp in Chale after an epic 106km journey. You’ll get full support & hospitality all the way, and with 3/4, 1/2, & 1/4 Island Challenges + the very scenic ‘Southern 50 Loop ‘ & 10 mile ‘Cowes Medina Estuary’ options also available – there’s an Isle of Wight Challenge for everyone!

Endurance events for a wide range of fitness & ages – and the UK’s #1 series of treks & trail runs. Choose your Challenge – do it at your pace, and there’re 18 events in the Series. Our support enables you to go further, whilst enjoying the great outdoors & camaraderie. There’re marquee rest stops, lots of food & drink, medical & massage teams, with a fully signed route with GPS tracking to guide you. A big finish-line celebration awaits with an amazing sense of achievement, and once the aches subside you’ll feel energised, and up for more of life’s real challenges!

Whether you’re a walker and new to challenge events, an experienced trekker, a marathon enthusiast upping the distance, or a seasoned ultra runner after UTMB points – there’s an Ultra Challenge® for you! Walk, Jog, or Run at your pace, as an Individual or a Team, for a charity of your choice or just for you. On the Full & 1st Half challenges – there’s a NEW Ultra Trailblazerz™ option for ‘rapid runners’, and an Ultra March® option for ‘hasty hikers’ – plus a friendly ‘Solo Challenger’ start time to join up with others.
